This is Vinnie. Vinnie played Dexter the Dog on the ill-fated Chris Carter series Harsh Realm. Fox canceled HR's prime time existence after just three episodes, so it's safe to assume that Vinnie is now just another out of work dog. Possibly a lot like your dog, or a dog living off of somebody you know.

Some actors struggle through life just hoping for recognition. (Who remembers Jill, the canine star of Oscar-winning As Good As It Gets? Has she even worked since?) Others, like Moose, the terrier who stars as Eddie on Frasier, get that lucky break that takes them to the top early in their show business careers. Still others prefer to remain anonymous and distant from their fans, just turning in a days work as professional routine and trotting home to a good bowl of food and a comfortable night's sleep. Think of the hundreds of animal extras in films and television over the years, gone and forgotten.

As Dexter in Harsh Realm, Vinnie steals almost every scene he's in with co-stars Scott Bairstow and D.B. Sweeney. Vinnie is a natural comedian, a serious dramatic actor, and, with HR lost to television history and reruns, it remains the job of loyal fans to help keep Vinnie in the public eye.

Therefore, unlike the other pages on VRContinuum's Fan Site for Harsh Realm, we will consider publishing original fan fiction and news about Vinnie from you for Vinnie's Page. The rules are simple, and in the fine print below:
